the problem
America has a social cohesion crisis.
WE THE PEOPLE are not okay: lonely, polarized, chronically online, over-stimulated, and hungry for freedom to play and practice.
Families, identity groups, and local communities are breaking under political division, trauma, and corrosion of community infrastructure as technology and governance has accelerated tensions people may not know how to confront alone.
Culture, technology, and science have human trust bottlenecks that hurt adoption, scale, and the courage needed to evolve and innovate. People cannot adopt to what they do not trust.
The trust we restore first is each person's faith in themself.
So many of our gifts go unseeded. Horizon is a bet on human genius: every human is a genius, and every human is welcome.
Horizon sells dignity and care for everyone.

Horizon is a practice of discovery for people who need meaning without coercion, community without masks or losing themselves, and a new practice that can survive contact with reality.
First Roycroft Print Shop
Horizon House is inspired by people using their freedom and gifts to create beautiful work together. Seeded by Elbert Hubbard, the Roycroft Print Shop was a cornerstone of the American Arts and Crafts movement in 1895 in New York. The renowned print shop and artisan community were celebrated for handcrafting beautifully made objects.

We are looking outward at the edge of what we can and cannot see. Horizon is not a set of rules to follow to live well. It is a practice of awareness for the discovery of your life.
Authentic individuality makes good community. The real difference between a community and a collective is the freedom to disagree, be different, and still be seen. We see the unique, singular, multi-faceted you, so we can be whole together.

Repair people infrastructure.
Culture is what emerges. Storytelling, knowledge, and play are our tools. There are no hierarchies here because every human is equally particular with quality conditions. Anyone can be a "prophet" because everyone has a story and a message worth sharing.
discovery
Material and spiritual all at once.
Spirit is emergent. As humans we are material and spiritual. We have raw materials, but need to imagine and sense our world to create its elements and to even share one reality. We copy, but we also generate. Experiment, play, and is our way.
